The Dual Warning System is a new YOKOHAMA double carcass hose´s primary carcass failure detection system that can provide clear indication to opertaors both "during" and "after" operation.

An effective solution in the event that primary carcass bursts, the buffer layer between primary and secondary carcass is filled with fluid, causing draft of this hose section in case of floating hose or configuration in case of suhmarine hose to change due to change of hose´s weight. As the fluid is remained in the hose, the indication of primary carcass failure in that particular hose is still visible after operation.
